Driver CPC: updated guidance for training providers
Wednesday 21st January 2009The Joint Approvals Unit of Periodic Training (JAUPT) has updated its guidance to training providers and employers wishing to deliver periodic training.
The new guide includes new information on the auditing processes for approved training providers. A copy can be downloaded here
JAUPT has also confirmed that all the ADR modules from 1 to 5 (all classes except tankers and classes 1 and 7) can be included for approval to double up as driver CPC periodic training. Therefore if a course of not more than 21 hours was submitted to JAUPT that included modules 1 to 5 and all other approval criteria were met it would be approved.
