Graham brings four decades of corporate experience to Backhouse Jones

Thursday 4th December 2008

EXPERIENCED solicitor Graham Quigley has joined Backhouse Jones as the transport specialist's new corporate solicitor.

Graham, 60, has represented transport companies for more than a decade, and will be using his corporate expertise to assist operators. He will also be handling criminal and regulatory work for Backhouse Jones.

The solicitor is also a Road Haulage Association (RHA) panel appointed solicitor in Cumbria, and is a key appointment for the expanding firm.

He said: “I have been involved in transport law for about 12 years, and have worked with the Backhouse Jones directors a number of times. The move to the firm was an obvious one for me and I am looking forward to working with Backhouse Jones and its clients.

“With a knowledge of both transport and of the corporate law sector I hope to use my expertise to give both existing and new clients access to an extra level of advice.”

Ian Jones, director at Backhouse Jones, said: “Graham has a fantastic reputation in the legal and transport sector and we our client will benefit greatly from his knowledge and expertise.

“As an RHA panel solicitor, it makes sense for Graham to join one of the country’s best respected transport law firms and I am sure this will be an ideal pairing for both parties.”
