Stagecoach to merge with rival New York bus line

Stagecoach, the bus and train operator, struck a deal on Wednesday to form New York's biggest sightseeing business.

The Perth-based company is merging its Gray Line New York business, which runs double-decker bus, motorcoach and trolley-bus tours of the Big Apple, with CitySights NY, the rival sightseeing operator.

The pair will operate the business as a joint venture from the end of March and will continue to operate services under the Gray Line and CitySights brands.
