BACK on the job?

18 May

In light of recent government advice, many employers are gearing up to welcome back at least some of their workforce. But how do you provide your workers with a safe workplace? The government requires you to implement a COVID-19 risk assessment whether it be for your offices, your vehicles or workshop.  COVID-19 is a notifiable disease and therefore reportable under RIDDOR.

The HSE are focusing on whether workplaces are safe and whether risk assessments are effective; the lack of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment is an offence on its own, punishable by an unlimited fine.

To help you avoid breaching the rules, Backhouse Jones along are providing operators with e-training on how to draft the all important COVID-19 risk assessment. The training will give you the tools to draft the risk assessment, including providing a model risk assessment from which you can build your own to suit your business needs.  Enrol on to our e-training session here.

Advice packages

With our advice packages, we take away the guesswork and work with you to develop your COVID-19 risk assessments. There are two options:  The COVID-19 Risk Assessment Starter Pack; or the COVID-19 Risk Assessment Bespoke Service.

Our COVID 19 Risk Assessment Starter Pack provides a framework risk assessment for you to start with and develop as you see appropriate for a fixed price.

Our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Bespoke Service includes one free place on our e-training session (subject to availability) and we work with you to devise a COVID-19 risk assessment for as many of your work place settings as you require; the price is available upon request.
