Furlough has been the saviour of many jobs. For many more, it has become a redundancy waiting room. Changes to furlough mean employers are required to start contributing from August. It makes sense to look at your workforce now and decide whether you need to make any redundancies.
The redundancy process is complicated and leaves employers open to claims if not followed correctly and at the right time. Our eTraining session on 17 June 2020 provides an overview of what you need to know. It covers bringing staff back from furlough (and what to do if they refuse), reducing hours, lay-offs and redundancy. There is also the opportunity to ask questions in a confidential forum.
