Fancy a tour of Hinckley Point C?

Hinkley Point C is the first nuclear power station to be built in over 20-years and will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6-million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.  The construction of Hinkley Point C marks a significant milestone in the revitalisation of the UK’s nuclear power industry, making a major contribution to the UK’s move to reduce carbon emissions.  The electricity generated by its two reactors will offset 9-million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year over its 60-year lifespan.  The construction and operation of Hinkley Point C will create 25,000 employment opportunities, up to 1,000 apprenticeships and 64% of the project’s construction value is predicted to go to UK companies. There are currently over 4,000 workers on site.

Delegates at the Backhouse Jones compliance conference can take advantage of a tour of Hinckley Point C but tickets are on a strictly first come, first served basis as there is a maximum visitor capacity allowed.  If you are interested in a tour of one of the largest and most complex projects in Europe to see how construction is progressing, please email marketing@backhouses.co.uk with your Salutation, Full Name, Date of Birth, Country of Origin & Nationality.  You will also need to bring your passport as identification on the day.
