BACK on the job? The government requires you to implement COVID-19 risk assessments

In light of recent government advice, many employers are gearing up to welcome back at least some of their workforce. But how do you provide your workers with a safe workplace? The government requires you to implement a COVID-19 risk assessment whether it be for your offices, your vehicles or workshop.  COVID-19 is a notifiable disease and therefore reportable under RIDDOR.

The HSE are focusing on whether workplaces are safe and whether risk assessments are effective; the lack of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment is an offence on its own, punishable by an unlimited fine.

To help you avoid breaching the rules, Backhouse Jones are providing operators with e-training on how to draft the all important COVID-19 risk assessment.
