Backhouse Jones understands the economic strain being placed on businesses in the transport sector and is doing their utmost to support operators during this challenging time.
For a fixed fee of £200 plus VAT, our team will:-
- Conduct a review of an operators commercial lease;
- Identify any clauses you may be currently in breach of as a result of complying with any COVID-19 restrictions placed on your business;
- Provide a letter to be sent from the operator to the landlord detailing the landlord’s agreement to suspend or reduce the rent (and payments of service charge) due under the lease;
- The letter will record a temporary waiver and will not permanently vary the lease. It can also include a waiver of any covenants in the lease which the tenant might currently be in breach of as a result of complying with any COVID-19 restrictions placed on the business, such as a covenant that the property must remain open and used during the term.
